Thrilled to have Andy on the slate of keynotes for 2013! He has been a huge influence in the way that I set out to be a culture-maker and cultivator of beautiful things in my own sphere of influence as a Worship Arts Pastor. Buy and READ his book “Culture Making” before you attend – there is so much to absorb and your face time with Andy will be that much richer. Yes, you’ll probably get a complimentary copy at re:create, but trust me, you will find that you want to share it with so many others, having multiple copies will be a blessing! You don’t get this from his bio, but Andy is an amazing artist and musician as well. In him you will find the heart of an artist, the pen of a scholar and the eyes of a pastor. I had the privilege to sit under his instruction one weekend at Jon Tyson’s church in NYC and quickly realized that “Culture Making” was a book that expressed thoroughly (even if inadvertently) what the intent of the recreate conference has been for the past 11 years. Andy will feel right at home among us – looking forward to seeing you in February!
